Yes, this new SUV presented by Mitsubishi looks like deja vu. And for good reason, it is a technical cousin of the Renault Captur. Based on the CMF-B platform, the new Mitsubishi ASX indeed adopts the same design as its Diamond cousin, as well as a range of electrified engines similar to what Renault offers.

Whether we like this takeover of the Renault design or not, we must admit that the Mitsubishi ASX really needed to move on to a new generation. The previous one had been on the market since 2010, and underwent no less than five restylings during its career. With this second generation, Mitsubishi wants to relaunch its compact SUV on the European market.
